This website (mahanaim.gallery) is operated by Mahanaim Gallery Ltd ("Mahanaim", "the Gallery", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. Company number: pending registration. Registered office: pending registration. VAT number: pending registration.

By using the website, placing an order, or making an enquiry, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Each artwork shown on the website is an original, one-of-a-kind work or, where indicated, a limited-edition print. The image, title, medium, dimensions, year, and price shown on each product page are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the work in person — every monitor displays colour differently, and the physical surface and texture of an original cannot be fully represented online.

Prices are shown in the currency indicated on each product page — typically GBP, USD, or EUR. Where a work is marked "Price on request", please use the Enquire link to receive a current price and availability quotation.

Prices exclude shipping, insurance, and any duties or taxes payable on import into your country. UK VAT, where applicable, is shown at checkout. We may operate the second-hand-goods VAT margin scheme on certain works; you will be notified at checkout if so.

• Adding a work to the cart does not reserve it. A work is only reserved once you reach the secure checkout, and the reservation lasts 15 minutes.
• You complete an order by paying through our secure Stripe checkout.
• An order confirmation email follows once payment is received. This is the formation of the contract between you and Mahanaim Gallery.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, if a work has just been sold in person, has been listed in error, or if we are unable to complete the customer due-diligence required for the transaction.

We accept payment by major credit and debit cards through Stripe. For high-value sales we may also offer payment by bank transfer or in instalments by separate arrangement. Cash payment is not accepted for transactions of €10,000 or more in line with UK anti-money-laundering law.

For transactions of €10,000 or more (whether in a single payment or a series of linked payments), we are required by UK law to verify your identity and the source of your funds before completing the sale. We will contact you to ask for identity documents and a brief statement of source of funds. We treat all information received under this process confidentially and retain it for 6 years in line with regulatory requirements.

• We ship fully insured to most international destinations using specialist art shippers.
• Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are indicative — customs clearance and carrier scheduling may add to the time.
• Title to the work passes to you on receipt of cleared funds; risk passes on delivery.
• You must inspect the work on arrival and notify us in writing of any visible damage or discrepancy within 72 hours. After this period the work is deemed accepted in the condition supplied.

Original artworks are by nature unique, made-to-the-buyer's-order, or otherwise bespoke. Under regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day right to cancel does not apply to such goods. Accordingly:

• Original artworks and commissions are not returnable save in the case of demonstrable damage in transit or material misrepresentation by the Gallery.
• For limited-edition prints, you may return the work in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt for a refund less return shipping, provided it is undamaged.
• If a work arrives damaged, notify us within 72 hours and we will arrange collection, condition reporting, and, where appropriate, refund or replacement.

Each work sold ships with a signed Certificate of Authenticity forming part of its provenance. We warrant that the work is an original creation of the named artist and has been acquired by the Gallery in good faith. If the authenticity of a work sold by us is credibly challenged within ten years of sale, we will refund the purchase price on return of the work and certificate.

• The text, photography, design, and code of this website are the property of Mahanaim Gallery and its contributors. Reproduction without written consent is not permitted.
• Images of artworks are copyright of the respective artists. Personal sharing on social media is generally welcome, with a credit to the artist and the gallery. Commercial reproduction requires the artist's written consent.
• When you purchase a work you acquire the physical object. Copyright in the work remains with the artist or their estate under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

For onward resale of a work through an art-market professional, the artist (or their heirs for 70 years after death) may be entitled to a royalty under the Artist's Resale Right Regulations 2006, collected by DACS or a comparable body. The royalty is payable by the seller and we will provide reasonable assistance to collectors who later resell a work acquired through us.

Use of the Enquire link or Contact form does not create a binding contract. Commission relationships are governed by a separate written Commission Agreement signed by you, the gallery, and the artist.

• The website is provided "as is". We use reasonable care to keep it accurate and available, but cannot guarantee continuous, error-free operation.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
• Subject to the above, our total liability for any single transaction is limited to the price paid for the relevant work.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses arising in connection with these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that sale. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which they reside if permitted by local law.
